Courtesy of the Al-Waleed Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding of Georgetown University, here is a video of the talk I have there on 25 September 2025

The talk is primarily an exegesis of video statements from various Jewish thinkers on the impact of Gaza on Jewish politics, religion, and culture. They include Shaul Magid, resident fellow at Harvard Divinity School; Peter Beinart, a leading critic of Israel in the U.S.; Ismar Schorsch, former President of the Jewish Theological Seminary; Mandy Patinkin, actor and singer, who has recorded and preserved Yiddish music; Elhanan Beck of Neturei Karta, the ultra-orthodox anti-Zionist sect; and Avrum Burg, former speaker of the Knesset. The first 55 minutes or so consists of my exegesis of the videos, followed by about a half hour of questions and discussion.

This was my late Uncle, the son of a rabbi, reporting from Palestine in 1936.
